Complementary medicine treatments have different names in different parts of the world. For example -Indian calls it Ayurveda, English say Herbalism, for Japan it is known as Shiatsu, etc.
There is no doubt that the western medicine has been progressing a lot, but it's also true that the treatments and facilities are still beyond reach for many sections of the population. Thus, the need of alternative health care medicine is growing fast as it is not so expensive. For a long time people have been using the health benefits of natural plants and fruits, yoga, naturopathy etc. These traditional forms are now being introduced as main subjects in the medicine filed.
