BASIC LEVEL CERTIFICATION COURSES

SESSION : Calendar Year / January to December
Admissions will be opened every year in the month of January
ELIGIBILITY: XII th passed or equivalent or Any Degree from General/ Medical
DURATION : 3 Years (It may be completed in shorter duration or ONE SITTING depending upon the students ability & performance.)
MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION: English Only
STUDY MATERIAL: Lessons covering different subjects such as Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Health and Hygiene, Gynecology and Obstetrics, Medical Jurisprudence, Practice of Medicine, Management of Diseases through the selected PG Programme like Alternative Medicines, Acupuncture, Electro – Homoeopathy, Naturopathy i.e. the selected subjects related full syllabi should be send via e-mail or CD/DVD through post by February onwards. Important portions only send by e-mail or post along with question papers around September Ist week.
Compulsory Practical and Clinical Programme(CPCP) : The date of Five days Compulsory Practical and Clinical Programme for distance mode students will be conducted in the month of every October and November in week end days. The details of CPCP will be intimated before a month to every students. Exemption will be considered for other states than Tamil Nadu, NRI students only.
EXAMINATION: After over the Clinical Programme the Examination dates will be intimated and the Examination will be held in the OIUAM Campus. Other State and Abroad students who they can write their examination in their own place and send those answer scripts through Courier/Speed Post/Air Mail on or before 30th October. Completed answer scripts will be valued and the result will be sent as Mark Sheets along with other course certificates except Convocation to the student within the prescribed time on or before 31st December. Convocation fee should be paid separately at the time of Intimation.
After Completion of the Course : 1.Bonafide Certificate, 2.Mark sheets (Three Years), 3. Provisional Certificate are awarded to the successful students by the Open International University for Alternative Medicines which is Accredited by the International Accreditation Organization(IAO).
The Course Award Certificate will be awarded at final in the Convocation Ceremony. The date of Convocation Function will be intimated to every one before a month.
BENEFITS OF THE COURSE: After Completion of the course one can enroll in a Post Graduate Course/M.D.(A.M)/register his / her name as a Registered Medical Practitioner (R.M.P) Grade ‘A’ in the Register of National Board of Alternative Medicines (NBAM) under Rule 6 (9) and can start practice.
FEES: INR.45,000/- Which can be remitted in three installments: INR.20,000/- with application form on or before 31st January in 1st year, and INR.15,000/- on or before 31st January in 2nd year, INR 10,000/- on or before 31st January in 3rd year. (Registration fee Rs. 15,000/-should be paid to NBAM on or before 30th October in the final year). For shorter duration payment will be settled in one time along with registration fee of Rs.15,000 + 45,000 = 60,000/- USD 950 for NRI
Note : Fees once paid will not be refunded or adjusted in any circumstances.
